Meet Our Team

Behind the scenes at CEDE ARUBA, a dedicated team of ​professionals and community advocates work tirelessly to bring our mission to life.  

Daniel Tecklenborg

As Director, Daniel drives the organization’s vision, actively engaging in strategic partnerships and program development to maximize impact.

Bryan Krosendijk

As business process officer, Bryan monitors and enhances financial management, governance, and HR processes for organizational excellence within CEDE ARUBA.

Shahaira Rudolfo

Shahaira is responsible for the sending and hosting of ESC program participants. She enables local youth to volunteer in the EU and helps while caring for international volunteers at CEDE ARUBA and our partners.

Gianni Bermudez

As program coordinator for BARIO UNICO, Gianni drives the development and enhancement of neighborhood-based community development with focus on increased social cohesion and inclusion.

Nicole Hart
​As program coordinator of the EU HUB, Nicole expands international opportunities for Aruba’s youth by overseeing volunteer programs, building partnerships, and coordinating exchange initiatives.

Elsa Krosendijk

As program staff for BARIO UNICO, Elsa is responsible for organizing community events, including BAN CAYA, WAW Mobiel, and developing neighborhood programs to strengthen local engagement.

Inki Geerman

As program staff for BARIO UNICO, Inki empowers neighborhood centers and NGOs, providing support in project development, organizational challenges, and coordinating impactful community activities.

Yolanda Richardson-Smit

As project coordinator for ESC and Erasmus+ projects, Yolanda creates impactful project proposals, guides their execution and supports NGOs and participants through the project cycle.

Janneke Steinmann 

As Signs of Safety implementation staff, Janneke fosters open collaboration with all participating organizations and guides the training and implementation process, aiming to enhance protection and resources for families at risk.

Undina Harms

As program staff for BARIO UNICO, Undina supports community development initiatives, fostering collaboration and capacity building to empower neighborhoods across Aruba.

Samantha Daal-Lacle

As project advisor, Samantha helps our local NGOs to submit great project proposals. She also ensures the support for their projects during execution, promoting stronger governance within the organizations.

Paulien Ter Meulen

As the project coordinator for Let's Act, Aruba DOET and ARUBA VOLUNTEERS, Paulien matches NGO projects with volunteers and ensures impactful and successful collaborations between organizations and volunteers.


OUR STORY 

& JOURNEY  


Founded in 1980, CEDE ARUBA started the journey to support community initiatives in Aruba. Over the years, we've grown to become a catalyst for meaningful change, sustainable development, and social engagement in Aruba.



1977
CEDE ARUBA

CEDE ARUBA was founded to support community initiatives with funding of the Dutch Government.

1977 - 2004
Projects Supported


Supported countless projects to create and build community infrastructure, such as Centro di Barios, sport clubs and social organizations.

2004
Partnering

Started a long lasting collaboration with Samenwerkende Fondsen Cariben.  

2013
Aruba Doet

Launched Aruba Doet, now Aruba’s largest volunteer campaign.  

2015
EU Projects

Started to collaborate with European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+ programs to support international volunteering and youth work development.   

2021
Expansion of funding partners

Started to expand network of funding partners in the Netherlands and with the tourism sector.

2022
ARUBAVOLUNTEERS.ORG

Started ARUBAVOLUNTEERS.ORG as all year around volunteer platform.

2023 - Present
New programs

Introducing new pilot programs such as BAR!O UNiCO, BAN BIBA BARIO and LET’S ACT to support neighborhood development, youth engagement and access to cultural programs
